Chippewa Manor is offering a unique, full-time position for an RN/LPN in our skilled nursing and rehab setting. This position is scheduled for 3, 12-hour, day shifts per week. The possibility to pick up additional 4-hour shifts may be available. There may be some scheduling flexibility for the right candidate.

Chippewa Manor is a 5-star rated skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This position is responsible for providing care to clients, working in a team approach with physicians, RNs and other health care professionals.
Shift Options Include:
- 12-Hour Shift – 6 am to 6:30 pm (3 days a week)
- 12-hour shift is 36 hours a week scheduled – chance to pick up 4 additional hours if desired
- Typical schedule is no more than two 12-hour shifts in a row and a 3 day weekend when off
- Additional scheduling options/flexibility may be considered for right candidates

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing registered nursing care primarily for rehab clients, extended care and senior patients
- Assessing patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaboration with health care team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols
- Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- May include supervision of licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
