PM Nursing Supervisor

Location: Chippewa Manor | 222 Chapman Rd, Chippewa Falls, WI
Status: Full-time \ 40-hours a week

Hours: Monday–Friday | 2 PM – 11:30 PM
NO WEEKENDS. NO HOLIDAYS.

Position Summary:

The RN Care Supervisor oversees and delivers exceptional nursing care during the PM shift. As the acting house charge nurse, you will serve as a leader, resource, and point of support for residents, families, and staff. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of care while helping new team members succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Care & Family Engagement

  • Deliver hands-on, person-centered care that meets the total nursing needs of clients
  • Address client and family concerns promptly and compassionately
  • Welcome and support new admissions and their families during transitions

Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise, mentor, and support PM shift nursing staff
  • Provide one-on-one orientation and guidance for new employees
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations to ensure ongoing quality and competence
  • Lead routine shift huddles and meetings to foster strong communication and collaboration

Clinical Oversight

  • Administer medications safely and according to policy
  • Monitor residents for changes and ensure appropriate care follow-through

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing (Wisconsin)
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience in long-term or acute care preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Committed to high-quality, compassionate care
  • Experience in long-term care is a plus
