Speech Pathologist (Part-Time)

Chippewa Manor is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about helping individuals improve their communication, swallowing function, and overall well-being. Position Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team in a supportive long-term care setting. The ideal candidate is organized, clinically skilled, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, therapy team members, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
